The Australia-China Joint Economic Report (ACJER) is the first major joint study of the economic relationship between Australia and China. It is led by Emeritus Professor Peter Drysdale of the East Asian Bureau of Economic Research (EABER) at The Australian National University (ANU) and Mr Zhang Xiaoqiang, Executive Director of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) and former Vice Minister of China’s National Development Reform Commission (NDRC). The study will examine the medium to long-term prospects for the economic relationship and follows the signing of the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement and the changes in the strategic trade in resources between the two countries. The study was launched at The Fourth Global Think Tank Summit in Beijing on 27 June 2015.

The 2016 Australia-China Joint Economic Report can be read in English and in Chinese.
